Delete your account

You can delete your Lofn account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways:

1. Email us

Send a short email from the address on your Lofn account to:

[email protected]

Subject line: Delete my Lofn account

We confirm receipt within 3 business days and delete your account + all data within 30 days.

2. In-app deletion (coming soon)

An in-app deletion flow is on the near-term roadmap. Until then, the email route is the official path.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record (email, password hash, country, birth year).
  • Your About-you self-introduction.
  • Every message you ever sent, and every reply you received.
  • Every memory fact every character has stored about you.
  • Any character diary entries written about your conversations.
  • Your gem balance and ad-watch history.
  • Your push notification token (so we stop trying to message you).

What we keep, briefly

Some records we are legally or operationally required to retain for a short period:

  • Purchase records — anonymized and retained for accounting and tax purposes (typically 7 years), without personally identifying you.
  • Server logs mentioning your user ID rotate out of our system within ~30 days as part of normal log retention.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your Lofn account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To stop auto-renewal, cancel the subscription in Google Play:

  • Open the Play Store app on your phone.
  • Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Tap Lofn Premium → Cancel subscription.
